Does ZenOp know my service menu and pricing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You set up your services (cuts, color, balayage, manicures, pedicures, extensions, etc.) with duration and pricing. Zen answers specific service questions and books the correct time block based on what the client requests.

Can it handle package deals and combo bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you offer a "cut + color + blowout" package, Zen recognizes it, books the full duration on your calendar, and applies your package price. Same for nail services like "manicure + pedicure" combos.

What if a client asks for a specific stylist?

Accepted Answer

Zen checks that stylist's calendar and books directly into their availability. If they are off, Zen offers alternatives or takes a message to hold for them. You control the rules per stylist.

Does it speak Spanish?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Zen detects the caller's language and responds in Spanish or English automatically. No setting to toggle, no separate number.

How does it handle first-time vs returning clients?

Accepted Answer

Zen recognizes returning clients by phone number and greets them accordingly. For new clients, Zen captures name, preferred service, and schedules a consultation slot if needed. Every interaction is logged for your review.

What about walk-ins calling to check availability?

Accepted Answer

Zen checks your calendar in real time and tells the caller the earliest open slot. If nothing is available, it offers the next day or takes their info to text them when an opening comes up.

Do I need to change my phone number?

Accepted Answer

No. You keep your existing salon number. Simply forward your calls to ZenOp. Clients call the same number they always have. Works with any phone system, including landlines.

Can clients book deposits through Zen?

Accepted Answer

Deposit collection is on our roadmap. For now, Zen captures the booking and notes the deposit requirement so your front desk can follow up with a payment link. Coming soon for direct collection via Stripe.

Does it work with my CRM or marketing tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Zen connects to 8,000+ apps via Zapier (currently in private beta), so every captured lead and booking can flow into HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, or whatever you already use. Ask us during your setup call and we will configure your first Zap together.
